Do you have a Map?

When you get up every day, are you clear and confident about what you need to do and know that if you do what you have planned, you will reach your goals?  Or, do you second-guess yourself and wonder where life is taking you, or say to yourself (or God):  “What am I supposed to be doing?”

For a lot of my life I chased different start-up businesses hoping that I would get lucky and make some money and then get to go be an artist.

After a few rounds of that I thought I would take a different tact.  In fact I realized that if I wanted to get to where I wanted to go I needed to know where I wanted to get.  I then realized that if I wanted to feel confident that I was on the right track to getting there, I needed to have and follow a map.

This is where we are called to live in mastery – using our mind, body, and spirit to be clear about what we want to do, then create the plan – write the map – and then follow it.  We must take the actions required; head in the direction we know we want to go, putting one foot in front of the other; and trust.

I used to HATE writing business plans.  I never thought they were important because I didn’t know how to write one to help me.  Even after learning how to create a plan and a map that is useful, I think it is hard to do it for our selves.  That’s why I have my mentors help me and I do this work with my clients.

My coaching and consulting work focuses on two main areas.

1.  Helping people discover God, them Selves and get clear about their Divine purpose and where they are going.
2.  Once they know where they want to go, help people to create their sacred map to getting there.

Where are you going?  Do you have a map?  Do you have a plan?

I recently started using some pretty amazing software called Infusionsoft.  It is an all in one marketing and management tool for small businesses.  I have been amazed at what it can do and how it requires you to create maps of your business so you can truly apply the best practices and processes that will methodically create results.

I’m excited to be helping people create their own maps and also introduce this and other software programs as part of my work with clients who are looking for tools to help them achieve the results they are seeking.
